Three-Year Warranty

Mechanical Flood Protection offers a robust three-year parts and labour warranty on all our flood protection installations, including sump pump systems, sewer backflow valves, and smart water main meters. This warranty includes complimentary replacement parts and repairs for issues stemming from regular use. Please be aware that the warranty does not extend to foreign materials present in the sump pit.

Annual Maintenance Plan

An annual service is available to our clients for a nominal fee. During this visit our technicians will inspect and test all equipment installed. They will remove any debris from your sump basin and ensure the discharge pipe is clear. The monitoring and alarm systems will be tested and all batteries will be tested. If everything is in good working order we will provide an additional year of warranty and guarantee coverage. This plan is designed to keep your system in optimal condition and underscores our dedication to your home’s safety beyond the initial installation.

Exclusions & Responsibilities

This warranty does not cover damages caused by electrical issues, frozen discharge piping, or external climate-related failures.
Maintenance of the pump or any related drainage is the homeowner’s responsibility.
The warranty is bound to the scope of work agreed upon and validated by our estimator, based on the symptoms you’ve provided.

It does not cover damages caused by water leakage or any future permeation points outside the initial scope of work.
Mechanical Flood Protection is not liable for incidental damage related to our work area, such as cosmetic damages.

Claim Process

Provide the original homeowner’s name and address. Original paperwork is preferred but not required.

Our technicians will conduct a no-charge inspection to verify the issue.

Once verified, we will complete the repairs as described in our warranty.

The battery backup for the system in case of power outage was a great contributing factor in my decision to get the system.
